Therapy can be helpful for anyone looking to improve their emotional well-being, cope with stress, or navigate life’s challenges. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or simply want support in making positive changes, therapy may be a good fit. A consultation session is a great way to explore your needs, ask questions, and determine if the therapist’s approach aligns with your goals.

During your first session, your therapist will ask you questions to get to know you better and understand what brings you to counseling. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the counseling process.
A counseling session typically lasts for 50 minutes, although session length may vary depending on your specific needs and preferences.
At this time, we only provide virtual sessions. We serve clients across the entire states of Colorado and Illinois. While I do not maintain a physical office, virtual therapy offers flexibility and privacy where you can meet from the comfort of your home, during a lunch break, or any private space that works for you.
The length of therapy varies for each person and depends on your individual goals, concerns, and progress. Some clients find relief in just a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support. We will work together to determine the best approach for you.
Yes, self-pay is an option. Choosing to self-pay can provide greater flexibility and privacy, as you are not required to use insurance or submit claims. This allows you to access therapy without concerns about coverage limitations, session caps, or the need for diagnoses on your record. Exception: Clients using Medicaid are not permitted to self-pay for services that are covered by Medicaid.
