Hi, I’m Angela (she/her), and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addiction Counselor with a Master’s degree from the University of Denver. My journey into addiction and mental health has been deeply personal, and it’s what drives my passion for helping others. I’ve worked in detox, inpatient treatment centers, psychiatric hospitals, and the VA hospital, where I supported veterans facing chronic illness, palliative and hospice care. These experiences have shaped my deep commitment to providing compassionate person center care across all stages of life.
While completing my studies at the University of Denver, I was honored to be selected as a Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Fellow, a highly competitive program designed to train and educate a select cohort of social workers and advanced practice nurses. I received specialized education in the mental health needs of older adults, including dementia care, end of life support, and the complex challenges faced by aging individuals and their families.
My passion for supporting people through life’s most vulnerable moments also extends to my work in addiction recovery. I specialize in helping individuals navigate addiction, alcohol, substance use, and behavioral addictions. Whether your path involves moderation or abstinence, I’m here to support you and help you find what works best for you. I’m also a certified coach in the Sinclair Method (TSM), an evidence-based approach to alcohol use, and tailor my approach to fit each person’s unique journey.
In addition to addiction, I’m passionate about women’s wellness and supporting women as they transition through life. I provide therapy for a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I also offer specialized support for women navigating the challenges of perimenopause and menopause, helping them cope with the emotional and physical changes that come with this stage of life. Whether it’s mood swings, brain fog, or a change in self-identity, I’m here to support you through it all with understanding and care.
When I’m not in the office, you’ll probably find me outdoors—hiking the local trails, skiing, rockhounding, or off-roading on a Jeep adventure. I enjoy creating pottery, enjoy getting lost in a good book, and spending quality time with my husband and our adult daughters. I’m also a proud dog mom to four lively, furry companions who keep life joyful.
My life is rooted in my faith in Christ, and that foundation shapes not only who I am, but how I show up in the therapy space - with compassion, humility and a deep respect for each person's unique story.
"As a clinical social worker and your therapist, my commitment is to walk alongside you with empathy, respect, and genuine care. I believe therapy should be a safe, non-judgmental space where you can truly be yourself. I’m here to support you in discovering your inner strength, helping you work through challenges, and empowering you to make the changes you want in your life.
I strive to offer interventions that are not only effective but also tailored to your individual needs and goals. Your journey is unique, and my role is to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and hope for the future."
